What People's Say About Place

Must stop for truckers, parking and bathrooms. Solid food at a good price mainly saves the hassle of having to drive deeper into town. This is right off the freeway.

Has decent food. I had the three meat plate to try a little bit of everything. Chicken was super soft and delicious but the sausage tasted and felt old. The brisket was pretty good and soft. We decided to try it after seeing sign on the road. The inside looks pretty cool. Bunch of animals mounted on the walls.

Mikeska's meat is smoked just right and the flavor is super! I ordered the chicken sandwich and I wished it had more meat. My partner had the rib plate and it was great. The sides were tasty. The Bar-B-Que sauce needs work and banana pudding could use more bananas. So, if I came back, I might stop again.

Became hungry on the way home and decided to try this bbq place. The beef and sausage was really good! They had really good flavor and the bbq sauce is homemade. The side of beans didn't have flavor however the peas and squash was really tasty. I really enjoyed the squash, it had great flavor and very soft. Overall this is a nice place for bbq. They need to work on the sides more however the meat is really tasty l.

Met our Trucker son here for lunch because they had truck parking. We had a Baked Potato with Brisket, Brisket Sandwich and potato salad. All VERY good. Self serve (order, receive and pay at the counter) but very friendly attentive staff. Everything else looked great. Came back on Sunday on our way out of town for their Sunday Buffet. For $10.95, I wasn't expecting much. Was I ever surprised. MEAT, sides, salad, desserts and assorted breads. The smoked chicken was so moist. Fortunately for them, my stomach is small due to surgery because I wanted to try it all. Meat dishes included ribs, sausage, chicken, turkey, ham, Brisket all perfectly smoked. Several sides dishes, 4 desserts, salad, assorted breads etc. Buffet is Sunday 10:30 to 4:00.

Foods good. BBQ is smoked. Meat tender, but not greasy. Potato salad is great, green pea salad is ok. The place has a man cave vibe knives swords lots of taxidermy animals. Compared to the BBQ here and roadhouse its 2 different taste roadhouse is more flame grilled here its more smoked. Brisket is better here!! The sauce has a sweet taste. Staff is very nice! Truck parking for about 8-10 trucks dirt lot breakneck right turn off the freeway 2 way 2 lane road. Dont know how long you can stay ( 8/10 hr breaks) i ran in ran out.

Ordered a 2 meat plate, sausage and brisket with green beans, coleslaw, and potato salad. Food was pretty good. Coleslaw was a bit sweet to me. Brisket was tender. It had a smoke ring but did not taste very smoky. Sausage was ok. With a drink total was $16.76.
